FINALLY!
Ever since that performance, I wanted to blog about the future. But now it has already passed.
First it was that performance, I forgot what it is already, I think its the Japan Culture Exchange. Second was my semestral examinations, which I think I've done badly except for 2 papers, Propulsion and Thermofluids. Third was the 9th National Wushu Display, I got selected for the performance and got into the cudgel group, which was the foundation of our performance, and my LED button hit my shoulder blade and went off during the performance. BAD. Latest, my traffic police test. The worst of all. I did badly during parallel parking, and even doubt the officer, now I think about it, its really LOL. He just want to see whether I follow the steps correctly, he didn't even care whether my handbrake was up or not. Anyway, I passed with 8 demerit points, 20 is the maximum, and its taken from the errors which I think didn't exactly happened-Different people got different timing and estimations. Well, he's the more experienced one, he decides. =D PASSED!
Then rushed back down to school for FYP training for WSS Qualifying Round. JiaYi got sick, so he didn't really do well. Max and I messed up the sequence. But at least I think our program is slightly more stable than the DJ team. Because Dominic used back the old relays for the rest of the program.
Rushed down to Yuhua after getting my Mh shirt from my cousin and got there about 8.30pm. Surprised the 2 "Changsui" brothers were there training. Shan't say much here. Then normal teaching/coaching. Not sure what is going today, seems a lot of people is sick, one of my new student not feeling well and the other didn't even attend. Then went on to learn green belt"18 demons" (the name is wrong, don't laugh. I don't know the chinese name) from GW. Man~his teaching style is different from other coaches like GY and JT. Very Detailed, which is perfect for me. I learnt much today.

Funny thing was, I got amused by the way he got angry. He got angry because my horse stance is wrong in one of the steps. The way he tried to correct it was confusing. He kept saying my "leg" is wrong, what he meant was my toes are not pointing forward enough. I thought he was refering to the direction my horse stance was facing, it was NOT perpendicular to the starting point direction. So I just shifted my whole leg slightly forward to make it perpendicular. Then wrong again, so I shifted it back. He thus got frustrated for no reason (during that time I didn't know, I was trying to figure out what was wrong) and squated down in front of me and tried to adjust my toes. Now here is the funny thing. Because it outdoor, we need lights, and the light is behind me, casting my shadow upon GW. He pointed at my toes, which I didn't notice fast enough so I thought its the direction problem again so I tried to ask him about the direction and he adjusted my right toe to point parallel to my left. Then "this horse stance", but once I shifted to 90deg to start point, my toes pointed out again (I probably didn't notice much, simply 'cos I can't see my toes.). Mr Small then suddenly came over from behind and striaghten my back, at least give me a warning, I nearly fell down from shock and unbalance. Lucky I didn't react fast, else GW's face might have got a small bump from my knee because he was adjusting my right toe while suddenly someone came up from behind. Natural reaction would stand turn upper torso to see the stranger.
Mr Small showed me that my back was not straight, then I told him its not exactly easy to do in my that current position, and his toes are pointing outwards. So I also notified him, because he helped to notice my back, I helped him to point out his toes, a favour returned, I guess. But GW got pissed and started ranting about not being appreciative enough and very rude. THAT, I admit, purely because the way I deliver message is of a different channel. But I don't understand why every kid, as well as those around my age, can understand me, and not the older people, except for my kin. I am the kind that accepts things as what they are, you don't like or disagree, you can point out; or shut up. If you do point out my mistake, I accept the critism and if you have a solution, I'm more than happy to take it and discuss whether it is good or not. And I do the same with people I am familiar with, like people around my age or younger, I might point out your wrongs if I spotted it, and if I have a good solution which I tried before, I will share it with you. Simple as ABC.
So back to the training. After the rant, which stopped because I think GY intervened by saying that I don't have traditional foundation, GW showed me in exaggerated form the incorrect traditional horse stance and the correct horse stance. ONLY THEN I KNEW WHAT HE WAS so pissed about...LMAO. XD
I meant you can straight away show me different examples of right and wrong horse stances, instead of trying to adjust my toe. And kept saying "Adjust your LEG". Aw man~ cm'on, "LEG" and "TOE" are 2 different things. Anyway, he showed the examples, and I got the idea, and it hurts in the wrong places. He said those that have done it correctly should have tiredness on the thighs, but all I got was sharp pains jabbing at my ankles. and truthfully, I felt that my toes are pointing inwards instead of being parallel after he adjusted my toes. I'm not sure whether which is correct now. 'Cos another thought is coursing through my brain. Is it possible that toes point inwards and knees point outwards??? I don't know, gonna check it out. So now I'm back to basic-learning the traditional horse stance.

Now about GW, I'm just not sure, are those that practise Buddhism more calm and acceptable? The way he got angry was very opposite of the teachings of the Buddha. Its not worth getting angry over a simple thing like my toes not pointing straight. The way GY teach is that he teach everything once, so you will pay attention to details, and leave it to you to practise. And if you do wrong the next time he comes to check on you, you practise again the corrected version, and again until you got it right, you learn new things. This style is good, but it doesn't apply to all (like the 2 kiddos I'm taking at Yuhua). I'm gonna try this style on D on friday. And then I heard from the others that GW got angry with the 2 new students. Well, I want to try a mini challenge-if I can tame the 2 new ones and teach them fast and correctly enough, I treat myself to "yee mian" =D.
Hmm, GY told me a few things I gonna jolt it down..so I can read it again. To remind of my own mistake and the changes I've made and done to improve myself in character. I wish my friends are not discreet with me, so I can easily find out my own mistakes in character. But such things doesn't come free and easy. Huh? If anyone is reading this post, I must say you have really done well, to spent so much time of your life to read my frustrations. =) Thanks for reading!
